I wanted these postcards to look like tiny beds, complete with lace-trimmed sheets, real pillow and pillow cases, and patchwork quilts on the beds.
One of the list owners at Cloth Paper Studio headed up a fabric postcard auction for victims of the Katrina hurricane. This was my contribution.
I made this postcard for a challenge entitled "Children." It employs the techniques of photo transfer, applique, machine embroidery, and machine piecing.
